a poem about rain

Rain is like a cloud thats crying
something born, and something dying
a wet cold blanket of misery
a small forgotten memory

a comforting sound that floods your ears
like the great blue sky is filled with tears
crying softly muffled by grass
plants and trees and even us

the rain can wash away your fear
or make everything seem so clear
maybe it holds memories
maybe to you it means nothing

the rain is like a blanket, muffling reality
a quiet reminder of normality
the rain will slowly die away
but on the ground the reminders stay
reminders of the quiet drizzle
that strikes the world like a chizzle

a really sick horrible poem... but its good writing

Poem

A furry little rabit scampers accross the street

not knowing the horrible fate he will meet

a truck will smush his little head

run him over 'til he's dead

his sad little body lying on the road

this truck now carries a heavy load

the guilt of one poor rabit dying

and a little girl on the sidewalk crying

Okay I know its really horrible(not the writing) and sick and I have a twisted mind.. but other then that I think its good writing.

I LOVE BUNNIES DONT JUDGE ME AND MY WEIRD MIND!!!!!!

A depressing poem

she pushed her self forward towards the edge

Their was a strong torent of wind rushing beneath her toes

a tear rolls down her cheeck and her face grows hot with anger

their are people watching

they yell

but all she can hear is the voice in her head

telling her to jump

her whole life, telling her to jump

she nudges herself forward a few more inches

she tips almost falling,

she balances herself

she smiles

for the first time in a long time she is happy

she is happy as she pushes herself forward

she is happy as she feels the wind in her hair

But then, so close to the ground, she is sad

she is angry

she is so upset

so many feelings in one moment

She wishes she never jumped in the first place

She remembers her brother

She remembers her mother and father

and in that moment

She remembers herself

too bad it is to late

she reaches her hands out and they are crushed under her weight

her small teenage body lies lifless in the middle of the street

begging for help

with her last breath she utters unaudible words

the words of a girl who took a leap of death

and got what she wished for

or did she?

Okay, this poem does not make ME depressed, just the girl in the poem is.

Election: Obama, the 44th president, and first african american president, of the United States!!!!!!!

Yesturday was really intense. I sat in my living room the entire day, following the election. We watched as Obama dominated state after state, and cheered when he won Virginia, and won the election. We all watched as people celebrated in the streets, and honked their horns. We toasted to our newly elected president, Mr. Barack Obama. I was really happy, and as we watched more and more votes come in, and more and more states go to Obama I felt like this was a historic moment.
McCain's defeat speech was pretty good. He seemed very gracious and good natured about his loss. But his supporters were some of the worst sports I have ever seen in my life! They booed every time McCain would mention Obama and yelled so loud they probably couldn't even hear him. Even though I don't think that McCain would be a good president he still didn't deserve that disrespect especially from his supporters.
Obama's speech was amazing. It was profound and smart, it was short, but it had a huge impact he looked really exited to lead our country and I think that he is the much more capable of leading our country out of this crisis then McCain. His motto is perfect, well both of them are, I really like the one "Change we can beleive in" I think that Obama really is change we can beleive in.
